Rose has been with Sandpiper since 2011 and is a licensed Massachusetts sales agent. Rose’s career at Sandpiper Realty, Inc. started with vacation rentals, where she helped homeowners maximize their income investment. She moved quickly into the sales market by working on a two member team with a senior agent for three years. With an average of closing over 20 transactions a year ranging from complex land parcels to luxury estates, Rose gained a wealth of experience in a relatively short amount of time for the real estate world. The most valuable education in real estate comes from directly participating in a wide range of transactions, and solving the challenges that arise along the way. This uniquely advanced education in real estate combined with her independent experience is the foundation of everything she brings to her clients.
Rose’s talents are rooted in the strong listing background for which Sandpiper Realty is known. The listing program at Sandpiper Realty sets the standard for selling real estate on Martha’s Vineyard. Through her training and support within this institution, Rose has honed her skills in turning mundane property research into viable marketing material. She is a certified Pricing Strategy Advisor, designated by the National Association of Realtors.
Rose’s relationship with the island started in childhood. Coming from a family of builders, she would visit her father’s job sites on Martha’s Vineyard, and follow the development of a house from the studs to the stair treads. Rose continues to expand her understanding of current building practices and has earned a GREEN designation from the National Association of Realtors. She grew up on Cape Cod, graduated from Cape Cod Academy and earned her bachelor’s degree at Tulane University. Rose’s life on-island includes practicing yoga and raising her son Thompson.
